When and why did you guys start playing together?

Well we started playing together probably about 4 months ago when Angus (Guitar) asked me (Alex) if I wanted to form a band. After being in a few other bands I knew for sure that i was going to do it this time and after recruiting Huw, Gary and Jacob we had our first lineup. Now because of Jacobs other band we decided to bring in a drummer called Jack and keep the lineup from there.
We also started off as a rap rock band but then our style changed as our musical interests slightly changed with it, now we are comfortable with our style and how we play.

Who are your main influences and how have they affected your playing style?

Well I guess our biggest influence has to be the lucky band that headlines the download festival or infact plays there, it would be a dream to be up there and those kind of bands. These bands who are playing these gigs move around alot, get intimate with the crowd you know. Thats what we want to be doing and alot of what we do is based on going nuts and making the crowd have an awesome night, thats what any gig ive ever been to is about, an awesome mosh and great fun with the bands.

If you could create your own religion, and write 3 commandments, what would the religion be called and what would you have as your 3 commandments?

Blimey, thats a bit of a randomer! Hmmm... I think my religion would have to be rockism, because we all love rock and it is the mainstream of music that influence us at the current time. Our commandments would have to be:
1. To let all unsigned bands be heard, this is because i think that we all deserve a chance and any snobiness by promo companies just ignoring is quite annoying and not helpful.
2. Rock to be worshipped
3. Mosh pitting to be a sport (thats the best one im sure).

What's the strangest/coolest thing a fan has ever thrown at you while you were on stage?

Well we haven't actually done a gig yet so that's a problem, but some practice sessions turn a bit saucy and horny, and we start throwing stuff at each other which gets out of hand at times, but we are all great mates and have a laugh.

Finish the following statements:

-"You know you've made it when you're playing all the festivals that you can and 60,000 people are singing your song"
-"It'll be time to pack up the gear for good when we either can't make it to practice or dedication but we don't want to think about that"
-"I'll never forget the first time I tried to head-bang, it really hurt my head and I don't have stacks of hair so it was quite difficult as well"

What do you think of the current state of UK radio and the live/local music scene?

Well I think that our local scene is very strong and MySpace has opened up opportunities for lots of bands, minus backline in Guildford closing, its gone from strength to strength and with ticket prices not too high at this current time it seems best to get into a gig and have a great night!

If you could play any festival/concert/venue in the world, where would it be and why?

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL, would have to be. All this band are made for is that festival its the style of music we play and that would be an amazing experience im sure. Also after watching Reading/Leeds Festival this weekend it also would be amazing to play there as the crowd is so enthusiastic and happy all the time.

Any other new bands and/or new albums that you would recommend checking out?

Picture of Nothing: Our mates and they really know how to play, unlucky not to win the local botb heat but their frontman/guitarist knows where its at and they can really put on a sweet show.

Any final comments?

Keep posted for the EP I guess!
