Since we came in contact with this band, they have been through many name changes, they are currently known as Against The System. At one point there was a rather violent uprising from the people of myspace with regards to their name, but they appear to have pulled through that and gained loyal fans. We hope to hear new recordings from them soon, and look forward to seeing them live.

When and why did you guys start playing together?

Jack: We started it outta fun bout a year ago.
Zac: About 2 months ago to have fun and spread the punk!
Chris: We started the band about a year ago but nothing much happened for a while! I started because its fun!!!

Where did you get the name "Against The System" from?

Jack: I personally don't know as I was on holiday at the time but it fits.
Zac: Well Chris made it up and it just clicked!
Chris: Just thought of it and it fits with a punk band

If you could perform live or record with any famous musician, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Jack: it would be Joe Strummer or Paul Weller as I model myself on them and they are amazing r.i.p Joe
Zac: monkey-the addicts! Because he is really energetic on stage!
Chris: Lars Frederiksen coz he's my idol and rancid are supposed to be so incredibly good live!

4. If you could go back in time, what band/song/album would you erase from history?

Jack: any Queen song
Zac: all the crap Akon makes!
Chris: The song "punk is dead" by Crass its f***ing s**t and such a lie!

5. Who are your main influences and how have they affected your playing style?

Jack: same as no.3
Zac: Travis Barker-blink 182 has made a big influence on me!
Chris: Um probably sex pistols, rancid and the clash and they haven't really affected my playing style but they've given me some good ideas like from Sex Pistols you can be hopeless at instruments but still have fun doing it and get somewhere!

If you could start your own religion and write 3 commandments, what would the religion be called and what would the commandments be?

Jack: have fun
Zac: well if I had a religion I wouldn't call it anything and my only commandment would be: do what you want!
Chris: The religion of Chris, 1 have fun! 2 let people live except chavs who you can kill! 3 respect the devil he's so hated!

If you could create the "ultimate super-group" with anyone from any band, dead or alive, who would you have in it?

Jack: I would have Joe strummer on the guitar, Carl Barat on lead guitar, Terry Hall singing/Paul Weller/Suggs. On bass umm Paul Simonon and on drums Keith Moon.
Zac: Travis Barker, Nikki Sixx, Gene Simmons.
Chris: Lars Frederiksen on guitar, Slash on lead guitar, Travis barker drumming and matt freeman on bass! The dude from Gorillaz can sing but he'll be chucked out soon.

Jack: Can you make my super group happen?
Zac: Be who you want to be!
